You head east, into a short night, and suddenly it's morning, and you're in England. Londontown: the hub and focus for theatergoers worldwide!

Take a walking tour with your tour director. Start at Covent Garden, the stomping ground of Eliza Doolittle and Professor Higgins. See Leicester and Trafalgar Squares, and Piccadilly Circus.

Day 3: London City Sightseeing, Optional West End Theatre

Enjoy a tour of the sights and sounds of the British capital. See such sights as St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Kensington, and Trafalgar Square.

Attend a performance at a West End venue. In London you can find anything you're looking for, from classical drama to Rodgers and Hammerstein. Perhaps a good tear-jerker?

Chunnel Train to Paris

Board the high-speed Eurostar train for an exciting trip under the English Channel. It's London one minute, and Paris the next.

Optional Immersive digital art show at the 'Atelier des Lumières'

Enjoy an augmented reality art experience, and marvel at the creativity of the digital artists, who use the latest sound and light techniques. You'll see how a system of 140 video-projectors and 50 speakers present a mesmerizing show that blends fine arts (paintings, drawings, or sculpture) and music, while coloring floor, ceiling, and walls nearly 33 feet tall. See Paris transformed into a wonderland like no other during a cruise along the River Seine.

Day 5: Paris City Sightseeing, Excursion to Versailles, RER train to Paris, Eiffel Tower

Set out on a coach tour of the city in the company of a local guide. On the Right Bank of the River Seine, see Napoléon's Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées, the Place de la Concorde, and the exuberant Opéra Garnier. On the Left Bank, discover the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

A full-day local guide, well-educated and specially-trained on the history and culture of Paris and its surroundings, will accompany your group.

Visit to the State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles

Enjoy a bit of relevant French history today at the palace where the Sun King, Madame de Pompadour and Queen Marie-Antoinette all come to life. In this ultimate example of Baroque architecture, you will marvel at the lavish decoration, abundant gilding and exuberant ornamentation, particularly in the Royal Apartments of Louis XIV and in the Hall of Mirrors. Enjoy a walking tour to the Trevi Fountain: the terminal of the Aqua Virgo aqueduct is now one of Rome's most celebrated sights. It's at its best at night, when the fountain is illuminated. Throw a coin over your right shoulder and into the spray to ensure your return to this wonderful city!

Day 7: Colosseum and Roman Forum, Optional Excursion to Tivoli with Villa Adriana
Visits to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum
Walk through the best known monuments of Ancient Rome, the Colosseo and the Foro Romano. Once the heart of a vast empire, the Forum was filled with extravagant buildings and crowded with people from all over the known world.

Your combination ticket to the Colosseum and Roman Forum also allows entrance to the Palatine Hill archaeological site and its museum: should time permits, you may want to make your way up the hill to visit the oldest and most prestigious residential area of Ancient Rome.

Optional Excursion to Tivoli

Enjoy a visit to a hilltop town that supplied the travertine marble from which much of Imperial Rome was built. Nowadays, Tivoli is known for its Roman ruins and its gardens with fabulous fountains.

Villa Adriana

Day 8: Vatican Museums, Optional Michelangelo's Universal Judgment Show, Dinner with Music

Discover outstanding masterpieces collected for the Vatican Museums since the early 1500s. See exceptional statues from antiquity, such as Laocoön and His Son and the Apollo Belvedere, as well as stunning Renaissance paintings, notably the The School of Athens fresco in the Raphael Rooms.

Visit to the Sistine Chapel

A serenaded farewell dinner is included tonight. O Sole Mio, on the banks of the River Tiber.

Day 9: Departure

Ciao, Europa! Statistics show that visitors do in fact return to Rome, although it may not have anything to do with coins in a fountain. Race the sun and arrive home later today, eager to share your discoveries with family and friends.
